The technologies and systems developed by McDell Marine together with state-of-the-art joinery, composite and construction shops, ensure delivery of yachts and powercraft to the highest international standards.

Design

Our commitment to LEAN manufacturing starts with Joinery, Electrical, and Process Design which is all controlled in-house to ensure the foundations are laid for a successful project.

Composites

All Composite work is done in-house including spray up, handlay, infusion, polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy, e glass, kevlar, carbon fibre. Our ability to create world class tooling from 3D computer models allows projects to get to market quickly and cost effectively.

Joinery

From traditional hand built joinery to CNC machining or a modern blend of the two, we take the project from design to polished completion.

Fit Out

Developing systems for accurate and cost effective fit out, to combine the Composites, Engineering, Electrical and Joinery requires a dedicated team and detailed tracking systems perfected over many years.

Quality

We build in accordance with the project requirements and this may include C.E. Certification, Lloyds, ABS or other specific standards such as those required for Defence projects. In addition to independent inspectors, McDell Marine maintain our own in-process quality control procedures to ensure that we also meet the standards we have set for ourselves based on decades of experience.

Commercial and Project Management

In accordance with our commitment to "Deliver in Full, On Time, To Specification" we maintain a Commercial Manager for projects to ensure that all communication, changes, maintenance of drawings, and completion of manuals is documented and centred with one person, in one place.
