About UsMcDell Marine specialises in FRP construction for vessels up to 80ft. Our production facilities allow us to handle a number of commissions within this range. The technologies and systems developed by McDell Marine together with state of the art joinery, composite and fit out bays ensure delivery of yachts and powercraft to the highest international standards. Our team take pride in combining traditional craftsmanship with 'bespoke production' technologies to build boats for marketers of established international brands. We commenced building boats at our yard in Auckland in the early 1970s and since that time have built over 10,000 craft, many of which have been exported all over the world. We have been building exclusively for export since 1999. Recent projects include a long running series of power cruisers for the Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan, and we are currently building luxury cruising yachts for Oyster Marine in the UK.
